Collaboration with Sunaparantha Goa Center For Arts

Grade 6-10 students created artworks using symbolism to express love, encouragment and compassion in theri works. Artworks became part of a large scale installation in Goa, India.

Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts launched a collaboration with the Corona Quilt Project, a community engagement initiative inspired by the quilting tradition that exists across the world. Conceived as a way to connect people, the project aims to capture the collective memory of
this unprecedented time. By turning the quilt into the primary motif for creative expression,
it provides a platform for people to come together and to dream beyond our present reality.

All over the world, people are looking at those closest to them in a new way. Never before has the human value of love been so dear to us. Corona Quilt Project invite students to share expressions of LOVE. The goal is to create a kaleidoscope of human stories, all distinctively different and unique. The narratives are stitched together to create an installation of
collective expression - one that is a meaningful and honest testament to this
unique time of change, survival and perseverance.
